Our Story

Kiss the Sky was originally a music festival set up to remember a dearly missed man called Matt Nipper Gurney. Having lost Nipper in September 2020 due to complications with Crohn's which lead to a short battle with cancer, his family and friends decided the best way to celebrate his life was to enjoy live music together, which was such a big part of his character and life. So that is what happened, the first KTS festival!

That year the KTS organising team and donors managed to raise over twenty thousand pounds from the proceeds of the festival, which was donated to CICRA (Crohn's support charity) and Teenage Cancer Trust.

KTS was such a success it was almost assumed that it would happen again the next year, again the team and its festival donors raised a staggering amount for the charities we support. So year on year the festival continues, and is now an annual event in many diaries.

So KTS evolved from there, we invest in infrastructure and fundraise throughout the year. Our Kiss the Sky Bar is hired for events, staffed by volunteers. Our fundraisers run Triathlons, Swim the Channel under the banner of KTS. To date we have granted nearly XXX to charities that we support
